Does he still? He wrote a PhD thesis on Marxian legal theory, but I heard it was embargoed - which is a shame, I'd be keen to read it. The Australian dredged up an e-list post from 15 years ago in which he called the Greens a bourgeois party and dismissed "the parliamentary road to socialism" but argued for strategic support. He responded with a stock 'a lot of people get into radical politics at university' etc. etc. though he didn't disown the post. A certain cageyness is understandable given the redbaiting, but he's still going to be redbaited.
