http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pVkZxd2Txg&feature=related Here's the episode of "Alving and the Chipmunks" from 1988 where Dave, Alvin, Simon, and Theodore take a trip to Berlin, Germany. Alvin meets a little girl who has a brother who lives on the other side of the Berlin wall. The chipmunks get in trouble with the police. They are sent to the "rock pile," which turns out to be some kind of stage or venue, and they sing a song about the Berlin Wall coming down- "Let the wall fall down, tumble to the ground..." The loud sound and vibrations of the music make the wall crumble and tumble to the ground. Once it comes down, people on both sides are reunited. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rk_sS1eEL7k&feature=related

Then Alvin wakes up. He is on the plane sitting next to Dave just as they are about to land in Berlin. Dave points out the window and shows Alvin the Berlin Wall, still standing. Alvin realizes it was all just a dream... "but it doesn't have to be" he says, as the episode ends.

For all you dreamers high on vinyl sidings out there, know that the Sex Pistols called for the fall of the Wall in 'Holidays in the Sun'... and then the Chipmunks covered the Sex Pistols, inspiring the grunge styling of a certain young Kurt Cobain... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoCVoPSVX-U
