A little historical note: The Bavarian Soviet Republic was led by the Independent Social Democratic Party (USPD) headed by the martyred Kurt Eichner, and it was done in by the proto-Nazi Freikorps who went on to attack the Majority Social Democratic government in Berlin in the Kapp- Luttwitz putsch that failed thanks only to massive proletarian mobilization.
