Well, closer to the right wing site's figures (42.4% vs. 43.9%), but still 1.5% lower. But then Krugman gives a different (even lower) figure... Huh?

So, in which table(s) exactly did/would you, Doug Henwood, look to get the cognates of the figures presumably used by governmentspending.com? That is, total GDP 1995-2010, and total government spending for the same period.

Whatever comes out, I'll confess a soft spot for those right-wingers' data, they were such a clear argument for the need for massive social investment to counter the effects of a failed capitalist economy...
