I too get a twisted satisfaction out of this. I find the juxtaposition of
Doug's information *researched* from BLS with Schiff's anecdotal "I know
people..." who have taken advantage of unemployment to be particularly
amusing and capture the spirit of the 'discussion' -anecdotes are barely a
step above ad hominem (maybe -at least ad hominem can be occasionally
funny). I only -you know-read the transcript but -you know-it seems clear
that schiff was, like, defensive. Of course, the promise of expropriation
might also have something to do with that. Great stuff.
