It's in the water right now. Last year, when I was living in London, John Lydon was starring in butter commercials, ("Never Mind the Butter") and Iggy Pop had lent his image to a car insurance ad campaign.

Bargeld was a not so distant neighbor of mine, in San Francisco, for a brief time.
