^^^^^ CB: I would hypothesize that the reason the ruling class' propaganda minions are redbaiting Obama's very mild reforms is that life in actual capitalism begs for socialism. One doesn't have to have Marxist or socialist ideology to tend toward it. With no Soviet Union or socialist bloc to target ,anti-socialist propaganda tale must be pinned on the Democratic Donkey , so to speak. Democrats and Liberals were redbaited even during the Cold War, though. As a result , Democrats prosecuted most of the anti-Communist wars.
