However, I did a search on Google News and while the name of Gates is often mentioned in several stories -for instance this NYT one- http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/29/opinion/29rich.html
it´s included for comparison of other people´s wealth, not a direct reference about Gates putting money into the Tea Party "movement".

So, anyone got any direct, verifiable reference about Gates putting money into the Tea Party?.
I haven´t found any.
