Cigs are dirt cheap in China. Dunno how you could get them
to California, though. I suspect US Customs would not allow
them, or strictly limit quantities.

A US $ is 6.77 rmb now. Packs of 20 start at 1.8 rmb. The
brand many foreigners smoke is 6.5 and the usual brand
to give as a gift is 45.

Legitimate Marlborough, with the local taxes paid, are 20.
The ones smuggled from Vietnam or the Philippines are
around 10.
