I don't know: child care, health care, education, pensions, vacations. All sounds pretty good to me. 

Any socialist system would include those things.

There was nothing socialist about the old system. The Communist parties 
were agencies of middle peasant modernization; the most they could do is 
to urbanize agrarian societies.
