I was kinda hoping that I had gleaned at least that bit of understanding - that capitalism carries the seed of socialism in it's swollen belly, and we might be awaiting gestation, rather than endlessly pounding on a door.
Eternal conflicts - religion vs religion, capital vs social, left vs right, master vs slave and etc. It seems that if 'something' were to 'win', there might be an end to conflicts. And it seems that it might be easier to 'permit' capitalism to 'win' dominion, than to eternally pound on the door.
But if capitalism doesn't carry that seed, - I dunno. ?
