Let's see, he wrote that song when he was 23 or so...perhaps that still qualifies as juvenilia. But if by "juvenilia" you mean works written for the young, then isn't rock and roll, especially of that era, more or less "juvenilia" by definition? Not that works for the young are only for the young, or that works only for the young are universally crap.

As for the rest of the conversation . . . haters gonna hate, de gustibus, ymmv, etc.

Oh. So Sad Eyed Lady and the rest are examples of juvenilia? When did he get better?
