What I've been wondering lately...with all the social networking hoopla going on, is why there is not a social/political networking app that would help people organize and network.

I don't mean a place to sign petitions. I mean the whole ball of wax. Co-ordinating activism; strikes; rent parties; sharing information; voter registration; etc.

Seems a natural --

Good try. :-) But I think we should fork this to Chrome vs Firefox, because that can lead into the good and bad of open source and whether leftists should embrace it or not… and who knows what else!
