Seeing a WFP post, one crucial thing just struck me that we left out. Most of NYC, and many places in NYS, are essentially one party states -- whoever wins the Dem nomination wins the election. And the WFP does often endorse people to run in the Dem primaries who are to the left of the clubhouse candidates. And its endorsement at that level has a fair amount of heft.
