Oh, and we (myself and SA) may be arguing across the effect of
*aggregates*. And maybe even the definition of "investment," which
seems to be one of those terms, like "money" (see recent thread), that
everyone knows the definition for until the definitions are made
explicit, where it is then found to be fraught, deep, and
controversial.

But these only *may* be part of the problem, I'm not sure. :)
