I continue reading on this list zero mention to China and Latin America. It is as if you take the current situation in the USA and Europe and extrapolate it to the rest of the world. Both China and South American have been growing fine, and in the case of Argentina, re-building the welfare state destroyed in the past 50 years while re-gaining independence wrt economic policy.

In short: Bad policies created the current crisis in the USA and Europe. The enthronization of Reaganomics and the unwillingness to reign into tax havens, for starters.

So the Indignados should be asking their government to get out of the Euro-zone, and re-gain the ability to do their own monetary policy. They aren´t. Which means they have not understood the nature of their problem. They´re just a bunch of angry people yelling anti-politician diatriebes. They have much in common with the Tea Party, more than anyone realizes...
