Oh well.  Scratch what I wrote.  I know how the thread began, but then
I thought we were arguing about Charles' (or Carrol's) insistence that
the oppression resulting from the  (economic, legal, political, etc.)
inequality among the races was crucial to the rule of capital in our
times and that such fact had to inform left-wing politics, if any.  I
didn't read any posts defending the views of the liberal organizations
that Doug linked.
