Although he meant something else by it, it's no wonder why Zizek said it's easier to imagine eco-apocalypse than revolutionary social transformation. It's related to the reason why most of us will consider this to be a terribly unfortunate development, but not let it ruin our day, much less prompt us to perfervid declarations.
