The main black issue lately, nation wide, was the Troy Davis case. Anyone on
the left who didn't pitch in on that to the extent of her/his/their ability
should do some thinking.

Joaquin Busetelo was of the opinion that had the left pitched in
whole-heartedly behing that campaign there might have been really explosive
results, in Georgia and elsewhere. I don't know how many OWS locals related
to it. The Atlanta OWS seems a bit fucked up.

Nevertheless, kvetching abut OWS & race on a mailist is silly, unless you
are reporting on what you personally have done and are doing in a specitic
OWS to pull it into the war against structural racism.
