I don’t have any strong hostility for the man (not beyond referring to him as a toad, at least) and have no plans to relieve myself over him should he have chosen the irrational (and most likely religious) option of preserving his body underground. The people who did cheer at his cancer probably acted out of the same kind of one-dimensional thinking as Hitchens’s various rants about Muslims (Islam, if you prefer). They probably have other dimensions as well. No harm, no foul, as USers say, no?
