If one thing is certain, it is that most (if not all) the long stream of purported "Bin Laden and Al Qaeda assertions" were Intelligence- Service fabrications. (Why do you think they destroyed the purported Bin Laden corpse?) Another thing that is certain is that "Bin Laden and Al Qaeda" originated as part of a CIA conspiracy to destroy the Afghan government--what are uncertain are when, if ever, that relationship was dissolved; and, if it was dissolved, how many intelligence agents- in-place remained within the Al Qaeda directorate.
