I doubt that anyone feels "joy" at his death; we merely refuse (for the
reasons you give) to attend to it any moe than to all theother deaths around
the world on the same day. (And we do snarl at efforts to turn mourning for
him into sneers at "the left" for various alleged deficiencies.)
