the people in the VOP are talking about political action, not economics The point of moving your money is to simply say, we can act collectively and take our money out of your banks. This is one way we are going to count the number of us willing to do something about it. Our goal is to show you our numbers and to organize locally around the issue, so we build a network of organizers interested in these and other issues. That's basically what it says on their web site.

Doug mischaracterizes them as being interested in only the local or in being interested in taking down the big banks. For this project I wrote in about, however, those are not the issues. I was hoping someone could actually criticize the project on the terms the project actually embraces. Thus far, no one has so I'll give it a green light here in our Occupy.
