If you've never been, the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate
Conception is pretty breathtaking. Google Image Search should give you some
idea whether it's what you have in mind.

Merry Christmas, by the way! I just returned from Christmas Eve Mass at
Gaza's Holy Family Church. (They moved in back from midnight beginning in
2008, as a protest against the siege.)
