Thank you Jordan and Joanna for answering. In Jordan's criteria, I
don't think Yves (I'm going to keep on using her pseudonym) qualifies
as a liberal. Under Joanna's criteria I don't think Yves (despite the
nod to Adam Smith) qualifies as liberal in the economic sphere. The
Political sphere (under your definition) is more complicated. I can't
speak and wouldn't want to speak for her. My instinct based on reading
her blog and corresponding with her is that she wouldn't quite fit
that description.
