Al-Jazeera's live coverage (http://english.aljazeera.net/watch_now/) is
mesmerizing. The regime's thugs were attacking one of the streets leading
to Tahrir Square right next to the Egypt Museum, throwing Molotov
cocktails and rocks, but the revolutionaries (who were clearly far more
restrained) gradually pushed them back, using what looked like slabs of
corrugated sheet metal as impromptu shields.
Two more victories: Egypt's internet is back up
(http://twitter.com/search?q=%23egypt), and the thugs made one of those
bone-crushingly-stupid moves typical of a dying dictatorship: CNN's
Anderson Cooper was beaten by government thugs right in front of the
cameras
(http://ac360.blogs.cnn.com/2011/02/02/video-anderson-and-crew-attacked-in-cairo/).
