Its like the "March of Dimes" phenomenon. Since the DLC has accomplished its mission - enabling a centrist/right takeover of the Democratic Party - it no longer has any reason to exist. SR

you mean its not only the "professional left", the progressive wing of the party, that's disaffected by Democratic performance? even the centrists aren't giving money to the centrist core of the party!? next thing you know mainstream unions and liberal environmentalists will realize they're getting nothing and... shocking developments ensue... or not.
