If Wojtek would stop pretending to be such an ignoramous about both economics and politics he would let himself recognize that, in the USA (and not just the USA!) the "power balance" (absent a direct revolutionary threat) is nothing at all but the money balance--and that the DP works the way it does because it, just as much as the RP, is a bought-and-paid-for slave of the rich. To put it gently, as Jeffrey Sachs does, the two "are not totally indistinguishable."
