Now, in a socialist society you'd say breast milk is for babies. If you have some extra, maybe you wouldn't mind donating some to a woman who doesn't. (I was allergic to my mother's breast milk & probably would not have survived were it not for the many women in the maternity ward, who passed me around and helped me out.)
But under capitalism, we're basically going to turn poor women into cows to feed the latest fancy of those who can afford $22.50 for an ice-cream cone. And imagine the frisson: Organic, wholesome, entrepreneurial, and new. Practically a status symbol for the neo-yuppie.
Is this what they mean by "libertinage"?
