Latest developments, according to friends -

The Department of Administration (headed by a walker appointee) relieved Madison police chief and Dane county sheriff of their seats on the "Capitol command team", replacing them with the head of the state troopers, who happens to be the father of the current speaker of the state assembly. Capitol windows are being bolted shut as people - teachers, nurses, firefighters, police, trades - continue to be denied entry; meanwhile, according to a sympathetic assembly member lobbyists have been permitted to enter. The AFL-CIO is filing a temporary restraining order against the administration to reopen the building, buy a little time - perhaps for more aggressive litigation(?).
