There is a rumor (which I would not normally bother to pass on, but I think this has some truth) that Obama will support "austerity" measures in his state of the union address by declaring that social security and all other social welfare programs are wide open to "compromise".

FYI the term "greedy geezers" is already prominent in the blogosphere.

Moi nauseous aussi.
