Presidential candidate Steve Forbes made even George Bush, Jr. look less Hapsburgian which was quite an accomplishment. Aside from that he's been presiding over the dismantling of his father's media empire as 40% of its assets have been sold off to a silicon valley venture-capital firm which is no doubt calling most of the company's shots now including the slashing of its editorial staff as well as its regional offices.
