The German *state* dates from 1871. The German nation is more than a few centuries older than that. It ill becomes someone who doesn't even know the difference between a *state* and a *nation* to use the word "moron."
^^^^^^^ CB: Yeah. the German nation is somewhat co-terminus with speakers of the German language.
As for Europe's roots in Greece, how come so much of modern European medical vocabulary consists in Greek words if some roots of modern Europe aren't in ancient Greeece ? Why are European university classical studies of Greece and Rome ?
