I'm not sure if this is in reference to what we were talking about last month at your place, but if it is...yes, but the same thing happened in the 1950's: In July 1953 it was 57.4% and in April 1960 it was 56.4%.

Whoops, sorry. You're doing trough-to-peak, I'm doing peak-to-peak.

Peak-to-peak the 1953-60 cycles saw the EPOP fall from 57.4% to 56.4%. The 2001-2007 cycle saw it fall from 64.3% in March '01 to 62.7% in Dec. '07.
