Not so much for me. I never go to the beach. I think that's true of millions of others who live here too.

Yeah, beaches around L.A. kinda suck. OK for surfing.
Otherwise, it's just jelly fish and very cold water.
You can go to Venice beach and people watch; or you can go walk around Malibu or Santa Monica....get your feet wet.
