To some extent this is old news. Lots of Israelis have always held on to second passports, whether US or EU. The question is what are the implications of this for their political consciousness. Does this mean that they are really against the intransigent policies that are embraced by the Israeli political establishment in regards to the Palestinians (because said policies are putting the country's future existence at risk) or, on the contrary, does this actually make it easier for Israeli citizens to acquiese to those policies, secure in the knowledge that if things there do not work out as hoped they can always leave for greener pastures?
