I wish you did too. And if you did, you probably would send your kid there, if they would take him -- an outcome by no means foreordained, by the way, since they're very picky. (No reflection intended on The Hope Of The Henwoods; lots of wonderful smart attractive kids get turned down by these places.)
Nobody could criticize you for doing so; when you really do have to choose evils, choose the lesser. And for kids whose minds and personalities are suited to the totalizing regimen at these places, it can be a reasonably painless experience.
For the kids who aren't suited to it -- well, there are no lesser evils. Schooling, "progressive" or not, is sheer misery for them.
