loyalty to the Dems disarms people who know better.

Well Carrol said the DP = antipolitics.  Maybe he meant some members
of the DP's loyalty to the party = antipolitics. I donno.  I don't
understand how the structure could ever be antipolitical.  And isn't
party loyalty on the decline too.
