Why would they? What sort of problem do Kucinich or Conyers pose to anybody?
The DP will have no problem finding another ultra-Zionist in the Ninth District, and maybe the next one won't make 'em a laughingstock for the next year or two. Or ever, even. They get a short mesomorph who's not quite so proud of his pecker, guy might be serviceable for decades. Like Jerry Nadler -- though mesomorph, in Nadler's case, is something of an understatement.
