[WS:] This nicely illustrates the difference between liberal and right
wing/fascist foundations and funding sources.  The liberal foundations
try to duplicate government's job of funding social programs, direct
service delivery, curing diseases, helping the "less fortunate" etc.
Since the needs are immense, this funding is a drop in a bucket  -
government social/health spending outweighs the total amount of
philanthropic donations in the US by the factor 10:1, and if giving to
religion is taken out of private philanthropy - by the factor 14:1.

Right wing/fascist funding sources do not waste their money in such a
way.  Instead, they fund their intellectual Sturmabteilung to wage a
Kulturkampf to sway public opinion in the favor of right wing/fascist
causes - an example of which is the Craigs list posting in question.
And they are far more effective than the liberal foundations even
though they are not as well endowed as liberal - leaning foundations.

This is not to say that left-leaning funding sources do not fund their
organic intellectuals (cf. union-funded EPI) - but that the level of
funding for left organic intellectuals is grossly insufficient vis a
vis the level of funding that right wing/fascist organic intellectuals
receive.  And a big chunk of what is available to fund political
causes is wasted on funding political campaigns of center-right
Democrats (cf. Obama) - an investment that yields almost nothing in
return.
