The inquisitorial zeal with which the so called criminal "justice" system in the US goes after assisted suicide is mind boggling. After all, this is supposed to be the "land of free choice," no? What is so offensive in the idea of people choosing to end their own life? Or does "free choice" really mean "multiple choice from options provided by authorities?"
In any case, this looks like yet another reason to leave this barbaric shithole when the time comes.
