As Ben Smith of Politico pointed out, Paul Ryan cut his political teeth working for Jack Kemp. And now Ryan has lost that seat for the GOP, one of the most Republican districts in NYS.

^^^^^ CB: Would seem that the tea-Republicans are suddenly kind of out of touch with their "base". How'd that happen ? Or maybe their base suddenly got back in touch with the Earth. Either way, thank goodness.
