It may not be worth it. Gmail's IMAP/SMTP is fundamentally broken (such as the labels to folders mapping, and the practice of saving to Sent using SMTP rather than IMAP). If you plan to persist ping me for a link to a blog post of my travails and partial workarounds. Or you can consider alternatives like Zoho (disclaimer: I have not used their service).
