given that 18% of high school seniors are proficient in history, yet 47%
are seemingly proficient in economics (the free market, laissez-faire,
supply/demand etc. variety) and that 'four years at starbucks' higher
education probably doesn't change the percentages too appreciably, how much
confidence should one have that the ows-ers might come to adopt a more
anti-capitalist orientation as time goes on?....one reads of positive
developments in places like detroit and oakland (?), but here in madison
all one senses is a "commune under the stars" situation with of course the
requisite recall walker demobilizing fog
