So long as people are dependent on a job they will be dependent on business. Without any vision of getting beyond that dependency the 99% will be rendered harmless by by their perceived need to support business as usual.
The contradiction in trying to supporting both business and workers will disappear when people stop seeing themselves as workers and start seeing themselves as people. "Workers" need to protect business, business jobs, and hyper-active consumption in the faint hope that somehow the robots will need our help to plunder the planet.
