I heard that the mayor is now back to her original position, no camping,
small business+big business+(probably every major grassroots and community
group who attended the demo and strike) is asking her to go

I'd put money on it, many of the unions, etc, are quietly shifting their
positions and saying quietly, yes please mayor, please do not let this turn
into widespread looting and riots

unions and non-profits especially have legal responsibilities and funding
issues and will be required by law, funders and members to minimize risk

I expect the camp will be given some time to move into new digs, maybe even
a building, or combination of buildings

I guess no one wants another People's Park (heresy to say in Berkeley I
know) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/People's_Park although no doubt some of
these riot porn addicts are juiced up for martrydom

they sure seem keen to create martyrs, check out the Scott Olsen shrine,
the injured veterans agit-prop..

its really weird, they've been soaking in the norms of reactionary society
so long, even their radical actions operate within the framework. In some
