Any movement that is not willing to defend their own meetings and demos
from disruption is not going to sustain itself. You wouldn't let a
right-winger, a lunatic, or anyone uninvited take over the stage at a
rally. At least, not willingly. Why would you let a gang join a gathering
and disrupt it by provoking police? Why would you not condemn such an
intervention?
It's not a question of hysteria, just one of basic political hygiene. If
you like OWS you would like it to flourish. The BB rubbish might be
inevitable but it is susceptible to restraint, so why not squash them?
