[lbo-talk] 'Occupy Wall Street, control your crazies'

A pretty standard liberal denunciation of violence. I did enjoy this
analogy:

Old right-wing devil figures -- the disbanded advocacy group ACORN -- get
resurrected. Fox hints darkly that unions are manipulating Occupy Wall
Street. The smallest police confrontation with anarchist crazies gets blown
up. The big bonfire and window-breaking in Oakland is made to appear like
an assault on civilization.

The drumbeat of propaganda is quite reminiscent of Soviet-era television in
which scenes of anarchy on the TV screen were trotted out as the excuse for
fraternal intervention to restore order.

Sadly it's probably wasted on people under the age of 40.
