Incidentally, it appears that _no_ one in Oakland practiced non-violence
(which implies civil disobedience). Quite a few wanted merely peaceful
demonstrations -- peaceful AND LEGAL. I wonder whether, had there been some
strong proposals for civil disobedience supported vigorously by some
substantial proportion of the General Assembly, if the Black Bloc would have
proceeded with their action.
