First step, reword the question to " What specific systems of law do you have in mind here?"

Places of confinement must be comfortable and open to constant public inspection to control the guard force. The architecture of prisons is 'justified' as needed for security: that is nonsense. With a much smaller 'prison' population, a much smaller guard force, secure confinement would be a trivial issue. The point is protection of the public against physical harm, NOT punishment.

But this is a false issue. The issue is the political _need_ for any anti-capitalist movement to attack the prison system.
